I frequent this place the most for my crawfish cravings because it's close to my house and also good. When other crawfish places are out of fresh, live crawfish, or are out of season, The Fire Crab always has them somehow. I love that!

What I like most about this place is the taste of their sauce. It's delicious! I usually get their garlic butter and fire sauce. I will admit, sometimes it's not consistently good. There are times when the sauce is freakin amazing and I can't stop eating! And other times, when the sauce is lacking flavor, not enough garlic in the "garlic butter" sauce (see pic), or not spicy at all when it's supposed to be spicy. (Minus 1 star for this inconsistency, but I still love this place).

I also love that they have a few different varieties of oysters to choose from and they're always fresh. My favorite is their Kumomotos, but Fanny Bay and others are not bad.

There is a young gentleman here who's usually here (sorry, forgot his name) but he's so nice and always sees us and greets us. I love it when he's serving us. But lately, there's been new staff and they're ok, not as sweet and friendly as the other guy, but service is never bad here. I do wish they alert us before "last call" though, which they don't typically don't do and sometimes I want to order more corn or something at the end...and it's too late.

If you haven't tried this place, I would recommend it. It's still one of my favorites, despite my minor complaints.
