We have had another awesome year and we have all of you to thank for it! So cheers to all of you! We have some fantastic plans in store for the coming year so be on the lookout. We're going to make some menu changes as well as host periodic events. For now, come on in and enjoy some Oyster Shooters. We serve them on the half shell so that you know they're fresh. Comes with a quail egg, masago, green onions, ponzu, and a shot of sake on the side. We're open from noon till 6:30pm on New Year's Eve and from noon till 10pm on New Year's Day.
Christmas is finally upon us and we realize that many of you would love for us to help you with your gathering. No need to worry. We go you. We are open on Christmas Eve from noon till 6pm and on Christmas Day from noon till 10pm so that you get your Cajun seafood fix whether you'd like to dine in or take home. We have live crawfish so bring the whole fam bam and/or all your friends and feast with us. We also wouldn't mind if you brought us a gift, too ;-). Merry Christmas, everyone!
For this Thanksgiving, we are thankful that Louisiana Crawfish is already back in stock! Come on in for some seafood which also includes shrimp, clams, mussels, lobster tails, and/or crab legs. And to make things even more interesting this year, we've decided to open on Thanksgiving Day! From noon till 6pm. Come on and get some live crawfish for Thanksgiving, something you can truly be thankful for.
They said it couldn't be done. Well, we did it. It's mid-November and we have Live Louisiana Crawfish once again! While everyone around town is serving frozen crawfish, we somehow magically are able to get fresh shipments of live crawfish! Seriously, no joke. This was extremely hard for us to obtain and we do it all for you! Come on by as soon as you can and take advantage of our fresh stocked, live crawfish. If you have to wait till the weekend, then so be it. But we can't guarantee that we'll still have them.
It's officially over. The crawfish drought for the year is over. Yes, you may come in and order pounds and pounds of live Louisiana crawfish once again. Don't come in all at once. Otherwise, we might run out again, hehe. Just kidding. We have plenty! You can also get shrimp, clams, and mussels as well. Cause, you know, you should always mix it up once in a while. Don't forget that we have an incredible menu of other, awesome Cajun grub that you can also order. Come have your next gathering at the Fire Crab! We'd love to see ya!
Current live oysters in stock: Kumiai, Bald Point, Fanny Bay, and Kumamoto. We always have a fresh variety of oysters every week so it might be hard to decide which oysters you want. That's why you can always get the oyster sampler. It has 4 different types of oyster so you can always try a little bit of everything. Prices vary, according to the type of oysters we have on hand. After you get the sampler, you can then pick your favorite and then get a dozen of those!
There's nothing scary about our Fire Sauce! The only thing you need to be scared of is how hot do you want it? Do you like it when it burns? We do. Coming in and going out. And that's scary! But it tastes so good. You can add our Fire Sauce to any seafood combination such as our Live Crawfish that is currently coming from California. We have it for this weekend but it can run out at any time. You can also order some bread to go with your combo so that you can soak up all that Fire Sauce goodness to the very last drop.
Can you believe it's already September? Time is flying right by. We're fast approaching our 7 year anniversary! What should we do? Let us know! In the mean time, do as this picture says. Don't labor this weekend, especially when it comes time to decide on where to go for lunch or dinner. We still have live crawfish so come on in this weekend and get them while we still got them. And, of course, you'll have to labor a little bit over peeling the crawfish but it's so well worth it. It won't feel like work at all.
By now, many of our customers know exactly what they like in their seafood combination. Whether it be just live crawfish, or a pound of shrimp, clams, and/or mussels, they know exactly what they want. The nice thing about our eating arrangement is that it is meant to be shared. So you can pick whatever combo you want for yourself and then your friends can do the same and then when the food all comes out, you can have a little bit of everything. Who knows? Maybe you'll end up liking someone else's combo and then making it your own in the future. We love it when you share.
Swing on by for your very own customized Cajun Seafood Combo: Choices include live crawfish, shrimp, peeled shrimp, clams, or mussels. In this picture, you can see a combination of live crawfish, shrimp, peeled shrimp, and clams. It's up to you and your group's preferences. Some people like regular shrimp and others like peeled shrimp. Sometimes, you need to get them together to really see which one you prefer. It's nice to be able to switch back and forth.
We have developed a special blend of spices and batter for our fried calamari that you're sure to love! Easily one of our most popular appetizers, it's a great way to start out your seafood feast with us. We also have spicy garlic edamame, dynamite bread, deep fried oysters, and three different types of wings (cajun, honey bbq, fish sauce). You should probably try them all out to see what you like best but we're pretty sure you'll love everything.
Do you feel like having oysters all weekend? We do! We have such a large shipment of oysters recently, we dare you to try to eat our whole inventory. We currently have 4 varieties in stock: Kumamoto, Kumiai, Bald Point, and Fanny Bay. Each one is available in half dozen orders though if you know what you like, we recommend you get an entire dozen. You can always opt for the sampler which gives you a few of each and you can also get Oyster Shooters. Yes, they are the best aphrodisiacs around town.
If you're planning on having a get together this weekend, remember that we have everything on our menu ready for your next party! Just call us up and order it. It'll be ready for you within a few minutes. We hope everyone has a fun filled and safe independence holiday! We'll be open from noon till 6pm for dine-in or for to-go orders. Seafood choices include crawfish, shrimp, clams, mussels, crab legs, and lobster tails. We also have plenty of appetizers to choose from as well as the best Cajun Garlic Noodles in town.
We'd like you to spoil Dad on Father's Day. That means giving him whatever he wants, including our Cajun Garlic Noodles with Shrimp and Sausage. No, just shrimp is not enough. And, obviously, just sausage is not enough either. Heck, if he also wants to add clams and mussels, too, we can do that. It's his day! Let's spoil him! We are large-party-friendly so bring all your dad's kids, too. Even the ones you despise. :-).
It's Graduation Season and we're starting to get quite a few requests for large parties. Yep, we are capable of handling very large parties. Just give us a call ahead of time and we'll be sure to accommodate. So whether you're graduating from high school, college, preschool, or any kind of school, just come on in with all of your family and friends. We'll take care of ya. Just be sure not to use your gown to wipe your dirty hands afterwards.
A couple of weeks ago, we posted about our Garlic Butter Sauce but it was a picture of mussels and clams. This week, we're posting about our Garlic Butter Sauce again but are using a picture of crawfish instead. Looks pretty good, doesn't it? Yep, that's why we had to post it. So we have Garlic Butter, Cajun, Lemon Pepper, and our house sauce, Fire Sauce. Now go try all of them!
Ask and you shall receive! We, at the Fire Crab, try our best to do what we need to keep our customers happy. Well, many of you have told us that the bread we offer is awesome for dipping in our Cajun sauce but that you would like to upgrade the bread to Garlic Bread. So bam! There you go. You now have the option of getting Garlic Bread with your Cajun Seafood Combos. Wow! That's a lot of flavor and now, you can really sop up all the sauce after you eat up all that seafood.
Time for some Baked Oysters topped with a spicy mayo spread and multicolored masago! We call them our Ying-Yang Baked Oysters because after you eat them, they'll make you shake it like a salt shaker. They're simply some freshly shucked oysters, topped with our spicy mayo spread and masago and then baked to perfection. Yummy indeed! And perfectly complimentary to our Cajun Seafood Combos.
Yes, we have Crawfish Fried Rice. No, you don't have to peel the crawfish that's in the fried rice. We actually cook shelled crawfish tails in our fried rice along with an assortment of veggies and sausage. Definitely hits the spot, especially if you're looking for something a little bit more filling. Our Crawfish Fried Rice is definitely a fusion of Asian and Cajun, otherwise known as Cajun Asian style. This is also a nice dish to have for those who don't want to get their hands dirty with one of our seafood combos and it's most definitely a great dish for kids.
That's right. You read that right. We've got them for days. Why? Because we get new shipments all the time. And our selection is always different. Currently, we have 4 types: Kumamoto, Calm Cove, Fanny Bay, and Pickering Pass. We shuck them fresh to order and we check every single one we serve is fresh and ready for consumption. If you don't know which oyster to get, you can always get a sampler. A dozen sampler will get you 3 of each kind. Find out which is the best, and get another dozen of that one. So simple.
It's about that time when the Louisiana Crawfish season is coming to an end. Happens every year, yet, people are still surprised when it happens. So this post is to let you know that if you enjoy live Louisiana Crawfish, you better come on in soon. Incoming shipments are starting to get less and less. Once we do, will will shift over to the California Crawfish, which will be in season for a few months.
In efforts to broaden our menu, we have Jalapeño Poppers as an appetizer! We like to give you a lot of options when it comes to appetizers so we invite you to try these bad boys out. They're not very complicated items as they are just jalapeños filled with cream cheese, battered, and then fried. They are a great item to get while you take advantage of our Cajun Seafood Combo.
Do you like legs? We thought so. Don't these King Crab Legs look sexy and delicious? You can get them by the pound or get our Crab Legs Combo which includes a pound of King Crab Legs and a pound of Snow Crab Legs. Yep, legs for days. We'll even give you some scissors to help you take off the shells. Once you get to the meat of the legs, dip them in the Cajun sauce and enjoy. Yeah, that's way better than just dipping them in butter. Yeah, we're a little biased.
We almost always have at least 4 varieties of raw oysters in stock. Our current inventory includes Bald Points, Fanny Bays, Kumiais, and Kumamotos. And, as usual, if you would like to have a sample of each, we can give you a sampler of in increments of half dozens. So you can get 6, 12, 18, etc of the sampler. The same goes for each oyster. You can get them in increments of 6. Mix and match. Pick what you like and then get more of that. We always check each oyster we serve for freshness and every order comes with in-house made horseradish and cocktail sauce.
It's never too soon... for a Corona beer. Yes, starting September 8, 2020, the Fire Crab is now open for limited dine-in capabilities. Have you tried our ultimate Oyster Shooters? If not, you should! We take a fresh oyster from whatever we have in stock, shuck the crap out of it, top it with masago, green onions, ponzu, a secret sauce, and a quail egg. It comes with a shot of sake. It's your choice whether to take the shot before or after but you should really take it with the oyster shooter. It's the best oyster shooter around! And you know, you can't order just one.

You can pretty much get anything off of our menu to go! We'll pack it up real nice for you. Like the pictured Cajun Garlic Noodles with Shrimp and Mussels. Or even Clams and Sausages! We understand that sometimes you can't make it into our restaurant so we want to make it as convenient and just as good as if you were at our restaurant. Maybe you have kids you have to watch. Maybe you don't like to eat with your hands in public. We don't care. If you want it to go, we'll give it to you to go! And there's no additional charge for to go orders.
We showcased our Fish & Chips before so now it's time for us to talk about our Shrimp & Chips. We butterfly cut our shrimps, lightly bread and batter them and then deep-fry them to perfection. We serve them up with some chips (fries) but you can always upgrade those to cajun fries or sweet potato fries for only another dollar. It's definitely something that can be shared because it's entirely a finger food. Anybody at your table with fingers can eat it. If they don't have fingers, then that means more for you. It's a great appetizer as you await your cajun seafood combo.
Originally, Fish & Chips is a British dish. They called their fries, "chips." Well, we've taken this British classic and added a Cajun twist to it, and then threw in a little Southern California flavor to make it all our own. Now you can get the Fish and Chips as it is, with our regular fries, or you can get them with any of our 6 other types of fries, including our oh-so-popular sweet potato fries. We pride ourselves on giving you options and having 7 different types of fries (or chips) is a pretty good sign of that.
