You can pretty much get anything off of our menu to go! We'll pack it up real nice for you. Like the pictured Cajun Garlic Noodles with Sausage and Mussels. Or even clams and shrimp! We understand that sometimes you can't make it into our restaurant so we want to make it as convenient and just as good as if you were at our restaurant. Maybe you have kids you have to watch. Maybe you don't like to eat with your hands in public. We don't care. If you want it to go, we'll give it to you to go! And there's no additional charge for to go orders.
We showcased our Fish & Chips before so now it's time for us to talk about our Shrimp & Chips. We butterfly cut our shrimps, lightly bread and batter them and then deep-fry them to perfection. We serve them up with some chips (fries) but you can always upgrade those to cajun fries or sweet potato fries for only another dollar. It's definitely something that can be shared because it's entirely a finger food. Anybody at your table with fingers can eat it. If they don't have fingers, then that means more for you. It's a great appetizer as you await your cajun seafood combo.
Originally, Fish & Chips is a British dish. They called their fries, "chips." Well, we've taken this British classic and added a Cajun twist to it, and then threw in a little Southern California flavor to make it all our own. Now you can get the Fish and Chips as it is, with our regular fries, or you can get them with any of our 6 other types of fries, including our oh-so-popular sweet potato fries. We pride ourselves on giving you options and having 7 different types of fries (or chips) is a pretty good sign of that.
Where else can you get fresh oysters to go in Orange County? We shuck them for you, make sure they're fresh, and then pack them up nicely and neatly on a bed of ice. It's a great deal, considering we check every single oyster to make sure they're not dead and stinky. You will always get the best oysters from us as they are shipped in quite a few times every week. And to top it all off, we always have at least 4 varieties in stock all the time. Next time you have a craving, give us a call and we'll prepare it for you for pick up.
We have 3 different types of baked oysters to choose from. There's Dynamite, Peanuts & Chives, and Ying-Yang. As you can see from the picture, Ying-Yang consists of 2 different colored masagos (roes) on a baked oyster, red and black. Every order comes with 3 freshly-shucked oysters and they're only made when you order them. If you like seafood, then this is the dish for you. It's fish eggs on top of an oyster. That's seafood on top of seafood. Yumminess on top of yumminess. Just another one of our awesome seafood appetizers you gotta try out soon!
Get a combo of combos! You can order as many as you want and you can combine them however you wish! It's all about options at the Fire Crab! So if you want various combos to have various seafoods and have a different sauce type and/or spiciness level for each, feel free to order to your heart's content. There's no limit! Seafood choices include crawfish, shrimp, clams, mussels, or crab legs. We can accommodate large parties.
It's getting hot in Orange County! Well, it's always been hot in our kitchen. Get any of our steaming bucket deals and you'll see what we mean. Once we bring your seafood out, the steam is so hot, those bad boys can't wait for you to take them out of their shells. And if you want hot as in spicy, yeah, we go that, too. Just ask. We like a good burn every now and then, too. Our Fire Sauce is just a combination of all of our various flavored sauces. Pick your favorite one and let us know how hot you want it. We can make it as hot as you want it.
We heard ya. We need some items for the kids and so we do have 2 items specifically kid-friendly: Fried Shrimp Basket and the pictured Chicken Tenders Basket. Yes, it's not pictured in a basket but we'll serve it in one. Both come with fries and are completely safe for the kids to eat. Meaning, they're not too spicy and not too flavorful for their delicate palettes. So come on in. And bring those mistakes you call kids.
You're always more than welcome to come on by for an impromptu Oyster Party. We currently have 6 varieties in stock! Kumamoto, Blue Point, Calm Cove, Malpeque, Fat Bastard, Hammersley. So come on by and get a dozen or two of our sampler platter. Find out which oysters you enjoy the most and then order another dozen or two of those. You just can't lose. Plus, it's Friday. Time for a good party.
Can you believe it's already September? Time is flying right by. We're fast approaching our 4 year anniversary! What should we do? Let us know! In the mean time, do as this picture says. Don't labor this weekend, especially when it comes time to decide on where to go for lunch or dinner. We still have live crawfish so come on in this weekend and get them while we still got them. And, of course, you'll have to labor a little bit over peeling the crawfish but it's so well worth it. It won't feel like work at all.
While you're waiting for one of our Cajun Seafood Combos, get our awesome Fried Calamari as an appetizer to start. You won't regret it as we use our very own special combination of spices and batter and then fry these bad boys to perfection. You will be sorry if you never get to try our calamari. Good thing we're a forgiving restaurant. Come on in and get it today and all will be forgiven. Comes with lemon wedges and our very own dipping sauce. Use both or use none. It doesn't matter. You'll love it.
Yes, we have Crawfish Fried Rice. No, you don't have to peel the crawfish that's in the fried rice. We actually cook shelled crawfish tails in our fried rice along with an assortment of veggies and sausage. Definitely hits the spot, especially if you're looking for something a little bit more filling. Our Crawfish Fried Rice is definitely a fusion of Asian and Cajun, otherwise known as Cajun Asian style. This is also a nice dish to have for those who don't want to get their hands dirty with one of our seafood combos and it's most definitely a great dish for kids.
Our Garlic Bread has proven to be a big hit. Customers love to dip it in our sauce so if you get a Cajun Seafood Combo, be sure to get some bread, too, to finish off the sauce in the bowl afterwards. Or, you can always order some extra sauce on the side like in this here picture. You can even get a side of sauce especially when you'd like a different flavor (Garlic Butter, Lemon Pepper, Cajun, or Fire) and/or a different level of spiciness.
A very popular item on our menu is our Soft Shell Crab & Chips. We take 2 Soft Shell Crabs, batter them up, and then fry them to perfection. They're then served on a bed of chips, otherwise known as fries. You can always upgrade your chips to Cajun Garlic Fries (pictured) or even Sweet Potato Fries for an additional $1. Yes, you can eat Soft Shell Crabs whole, shell and all, especially after it's been fried. If you haven't tried, you should at least once. We also have Fish & Chips and Shrimp & Chips. Plenty of options for ya.
Choices include live crawfish, shrimp, peeled shrimp, clams, or mussels. In this picture, you can see that a combination of live crawfish, shrimp, peeled shrimp, and clams. It's up to you and your group's preferences. Some people like regular shrimp and others like peeled shrimp. Sometimes, you need to get them together to really see which one you prefer. It's nice to be able to switch back and forth.
Did you know that we have 3 different types of Crab Leg Buckets? Our most popular one is our Crab Bucket Deal which features a pound of King Crab Legs and a pound of Snow Crab Legs and then another pound of seafood of your choice. All of this along with potatoes, sausages, and corn for only $63.95. If there's not enough sauce in the bowl, we recommend you get an additional bowl of sauce on the side so that you can freely dip your crab meat once you get it out of its shell.
We're not sure y'all know about our Peeled Shrimp yet so here's yet another post about it. As you can see from this picture, not only are these shrimp peeled, but they've also been deveined. Many of our customers over the years have requested for peeled shrimp because it's their preference and we can respect that. Sometimes, you don't have to get your hands all dirty, especially on a first date or after a recent manicure. So go ahead. Order the peeled shrimp and let it bathe in our Fire Sauce.
Do you feel like having oysters all weekend? We do! We have such a large shipment of oysters recently, we dare you to try to eat our whole inventory. We currently have 5 varieties in stock: Kumamoto, Calm Cove, Blue Point, Totten Inlet, and Fat Bastard. Each one is available in half dozen orders though if you know what you like, we recommend you get an entire dozen. You can always opt for the sampler which gives you a few of each and you can also get Oyster Shooters. Yes, they are the best aphrodisiacs around town.
In efforts to broaden our menu, we have Jalapeño Poppers as an appetizer! We like to give you a lot of options when it comes to appetizers so we invite you to try these bad boys out. You can get 3 pieces for $4.95. They're not very complicated items as they are just jalapeños filled with cream cheese, battered, and then fried. They are a great item to get while you take advantage of our Cajun Seafood Combo.
While we encourage you to get dirty and eat our Cajun Seafood Combos with your hands, we'd like to encourage at least a little bit of civility by serving you your combos in a metal bowl. The combos do initially come out in bags but then they are all emptied into metal bowls at your table. If you'd prefer to have your combos stay in the bags, please be sure to let our servers know. They will gladly oblige (plus, less bowls for us to wash). We just find the bags hard to pick out of as a group because it can easily get more than just your hands dirty.
Everybody loves our wings and surprisingly, they really love our Fish Sauce Wings. It's surprising because it doesn't exactly have the best name but somehow, it is the most popular out of the four types of wings that we offer (we also have cajun, lemon pepper, and honey bbq). You have the choice of getting them in orders of 5 or 10 and it comes with a ranch (that you won't need) and some celery (that you do need). We're about to unveil quite a few more types of wings very soon. It'll be interesting to see if our Fish Sauce Wings remains the most popular.
The Fire Crab is most definitely Large-Party-Friendly, especially for birthdays! We can always rearrange our tables to accommodate whatever size party you have in mind. Yes, we always have fresh oysters. What are they? We always list the current inventory on the home page of our website. Currently, the are Kumamoto, Fat Bastard, Totten Inlet, Calm Cove, and Blue Point. If you'd like a sample of each, we usually have a sampler platter available in a half dozen or a dozen. From wherever you are in Orange County, our fresh oysters are worth the drive! We have sushi chefs from other restaurants come by just to order a few dozen of our oysters nightly. Maybe you should, too.

At the Fire Crab, we give you options. So if you want Shrimp & Mussels, that's what you'll get. Yes, mix it up and get what you want. And then pick what sauce you'd like, like Lemon Pepper, Cajun, Garlic Butter, or the the combination of all three which is our Fire Sauce. And then, make sure to get some bread while you're at it to sop up all the sauce afterwards. Get the Garlic Bread if you want even more flavor. See? We're all about options here.
We are way too familiar with this look. Food coma is about to kick in. All the food and sauce is just about gone. And he's still got a piece of bread in hand. He's blissfully full, but he's got to make the most out of this last piece of bread. How best can he sop up the rest of this sauce with this last piece of bread? Yes, a picture is worth a thousand words and we can go on and on about this one. But we'll leave it at that. And be sure to get some bread or garlic bread so you can end up with the same look as this guy.
We've got a lot of great appetizers to get you started at the Fire Crab! One that has always been on our menu is our Spicy Garlic Edamame. We know it's not a traditional Cajun appetizer but it does include two elements that we particularly favor in our food: spice and garlic! You can always order it without the spice but it wouldn't be as fun to eat. There's plenty of flavor and you'll be proudly eating your veggies, something you can brag about to your mom (no matter how old you are ;-)).
