Made from scratch, our gumbo is made with the love and care you'd expect from a Southern cajun restaurant from New Orleans. One bite of our delicious gumbo and you'll totally forget that we're a seafood & oyster bar in Garden Grove. There's so much goodness in it, we can't list it all for you. Obviously, you can see the shrimp and okra, but we also have shredded meat, sausage, onions, celery, and a few other secret goodies you'll have to come in and find out for yourself. Grab a bowl for yourself because you won't want to share this bowl.
We encourage you to do as you like when you come to the Fire Crab. And if that's pigging out and enjoying every bit of sauce drenched in our seafood, then so be it! Yes, some of those nooks an cranny that the sauce will seep into are in the claws, legs, and tails and there isn't anything wrong with sucking the sauce out of those parts. Sure, it sounds a bit off putting, but it really is worth it if you just dig on it and suck the crap out of your choice of seafood, which includes crawfish, shrimp, clams, mussels, king crab legs, and snow crab legs.
We know it's hard to get tired of crawfish but we want you to know that there are other options, like shrimp and clams. Shrimp has more meat than crawfish and clams are available all year round. It's a win-win combination if you like this pairing of seafoods. After you pick your seafood, you can then pick your sauce to appease your discerning taste buds. Our house sauce is our Fire Sauce. It's a combination of all the other available sauces and can be made to whatever spiciness level your tongue can handle. Is that a challenge? You bet your sweet ass it is.
We try to put a cajun twist on everything on our menu and that includes this entree of fish 'n chips. Our "chips" are actually are cajun fries but you can always upgrade that for sweet potato fries or cajun garlic fries for another dollar. This entree goes for $9.95 and like most of our other entrees, it's a large serving! You can definitely try to eat it all yourself but we've made these portions large intentionally so that you can share them with the rest of your table.
