Our Oyster Tasting Event this fall conveniently lands on a Sunday, when many can take their time and come in whenever they want. Our first Oyster Tasting was on a weeknight so that was a bit difficult for everyone to attend. Some other changes that we have made to our tasting is that we will be serving 2 different oysters at a time so that you may enjoy each type individually. It's $48 for 2 dozen oysters. 6 different varieties means that you will get 4 of each type. And, these are not oysters we typically serve here. We are proud to announce our next Oyster Tasting Event! We've made quite a few changes since our first one in February. This event will feature 2 dozen oysters for $48. Why, yes, you may stop by for a cocktail or two. What would you like? We have some very basic ones like a Mojito, Mai Tai, or a Margarita. Try them out and let us know what you think. Heck, have a few and we just might have a few with you, too. And in case you're wondering, yes, they are wine-based cocktails. We think they taste very much like the real thing and we challenge you to see for yourself if you agree. It's a great alternative for those who don't necessarily want to load up on all those especially heavy beers while enjoying our cajun seafood grub.

Batman v Superman might be coming out soon but we have a battle on our hands everyday! It's always the age-old question of crawfish or shrimp? No one truly loves both equally. You have to love one more than the other, just like your kids. You either like the juicier and more flavor-absorbing crawfish or the meatier, easier-to-peel shrimp. And typically, it's divided right down the sex line. Women prefer crawfish. Men prefer shrimp (because it's easier to peel and more meat rewarding). Every hour we're open is beer o'clock. In other words, it's always time for a beer. We have Sapporo and Stella on tap as well as an assortment of other bottled beers including some of your favorite Korean ones, like Cass and OB. You know, since we're located on Garden Grove Boulevard and all. The Korean District. It's always nice to have an ice cold beer with one of our Cajun seafood combos. But it's also nice just to have a beer. And you are more than welcome to swing on by and just have a beer. But you know, some fries would go well with that. We have seven different types.
We've finally found some time to revisit the genius that is our commercial. It's a multiple part commercial inspired by Dr Seuss rhymes. It accomplishes everything we aimed for. It's funny, it's witty, and it reinforces the fact that we have crawfish and can pair it with a number of different seafood options. Go ahead and look all around Southern California and you will not find live crawfish in most of the cajun joints. You will find even less locations with live Louisiana crawfish. That's right. You have plenty to be thankful for and so do we! We're thankful we got these shipments of live crawfish coming in and you should be thankful that we have them in stock for you! We will be closed for Thanksgiving so if you find some time over the weekend, you should stop by and get a few pounds of live crawfish while they're still in stock!

They said it couldn't be done. Well, we did it. While everyone around town is serving frozen crawfish, we somehow magically are able to get fresh shipments of live crawfish! Seriously, no joke. This was extremely hard for us to obtain and we do it all for you! Come on by as soon as you can and take advantage of our fresh stocked, live crawfish. If you have to wait till the weekend, then so be it. But we can't guarantee that we'll still have them.
We encourage you to do as you like when you come to the Fire Crab. And if that's pigging out and enjoying every bit of sauce drenched in our seafood, then so be it! Yes, some of those nooks an cranny that the sauce will seep into are in the claws, legs, and tails and there isn't anything wrong with sucking the sauce out of those parts. Sure, it sounds a bit off putting, but it really is worth it if you just dig on it and suck the crap out of your choice of seafood, which includes crawfish, shrimp, clams, mussels, king crab legs, and snow crab legs.
There's nothing scary about our Fire Sauce! The only thing you need to be scared of is how hot do you want it? Do you like it when it burns? We do. Coming in and going out. And that's scary! But it tastes so good. You can add our Fire Sauce to any seafood combination or as some of our regulars like to order, they get the Fire Sauce with a side of a few pounds of crawfish. You can also order some bread to go with your combo so that you can soak up all that Fire Sauce goodness to the very last drop.
Can you believe it? You better! We're probably one of the last places in Southern California that still has an inventory of live crawfish. What's our secret? Don't worry about it. Just come on in and order a few pounds before we truly run out. And we will run out. And then we'll be in the middle of another crawfish drought, like we do every year. The crawfish drought is inevitable so you better come on in and stock up in your belly now. After it runs out, we'll probably be out until the end of the year, just like everyone else.

That's right. You read that right. We've got them for days. Why? Because we get new shipments all the time. And our selection is always different. Currently, we have 4 types: Kumamoto, Calm Cove, Eld Inlet, and Hammersly. We shuck them fresh to order and we check every single one we serve is fresh and ready for consumption. If you don't know which oyster to get, you can always get a sampler. A dozen sampler will get you 3 of each kind. Find out which is the best, and get another dozen of that one. So simple.
Things are getting kinda dirty dirty lately. Sing along to our groove as you order our lobster special: Face down, tails up, that's the way we like to grub! Pretty funny take on the rap song my Meek Mill. If you're too old to know that song, it's okay. It's still pretty funny. But yes, we do have lobsters in stock and on hand, in case you want a large, super delicious version of a crawfish. It requires less work and you get way more meat.
