It's only fitting that we do a tribute to Garlic & Shrimp since we did one for Crawfish a couple of weeks back. It ranks right up there with Crawfish but you can also mix it up and get mussels or clams, too. And of course, we'll give you a ton of garlic since you like having the stinky breath and all. We're open every week day at 3pm and on the weekends at noon. We close at 10pm everyday, although many of you like to stay past then ;-).

Did you know that the Fire Crab is the perfect place for a Girls Night Out? We have plenty of space for any size group of gals who want to get together, chit chat, and get one of our Cajun Seafood Combos. We understand that women have to get away once in a while to have alone time and we respect that. We'll be your sanctuary. Oh, and we're not saying that guys can't come and have their night out, either. All groups are welcome. We just think the women are definitely more photogenic ;-).
We don't have to sell you everything on or in a shell. We also have our very, very popular deep fried oysters. Nothing to peel. Nothing to suck. Heck, you'll barely get your hands dirty. We batter up a dozen freshly shucked oysters, deep fry them to perfection, and then serve them to you fresh. You won't be disappointed with this appetizer at all. Our current oysters in stock are Blue Point from New York, Calm Cove from Washington, Kumiai from Baja California, Kumamoto from Washington, and Shigoku from Washington. Yep, 5 varieties to choose from right now.
We have 4 different types of wings and all of them are awesome but if you're looking for something "safe," you can always rely on our Lemon Pepper Wings. They're not spicy and full of flavor so they're safe for everyone to enjoy. We use our very own Lemon Pepper batter and we always fry them to perfection. They're served with a side of celery and a ranch dipping sauce. Our other wing flavors, if you're more adventurous, are our Cajun, Honey BBQ, and Fish Sauce.
If you like garlic, you're gonna love us. We go through so much of it every day, we stank of it when we go home. You can get your garlic with an assortment of seafood, especially our live crawfish. We also have snow crab legs, king crab legs, Dungeness crab, and lobster. And yes, you can get garlic with those, too. Choose from our Garlic Butter Sauce, Lemon Pepper Sauce, Cajun Sauce, or our Fire Sauce, which is a culmination of all the aforementioned sauces.
We are Large-Party-Friendly! Yes, we like 'em large and we like to party. So bring your whole fam-bam down and we'll save a big table for them. You can even take over a large section of the restaurant if you so desired. And why wouldn't you? So bring in your birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, funerals, divorce parties, we don't care. Just bring everyone down!
4th of July is finally over and you deserve at least a dozen freshly shucked oysters for your enjoyment. Made from scratch, our gumbo is made with the love and care you'd expect from a Southern cajun restaurant from New Orleans. One bite of our delicious gumbo and you'll totally forget that we're a seafood & oyster bar in Garden Grove. There's so much goodness in it, we can't list it all for you. Obviously, you can see the shrimp and okra, but we also have shredded meat, sausage, onions, celery, and a few other secret goodies you'll have to come in and find out for yourself. Grab a bowl for yourself because you won't want to share this bowl.
It's finally the summer! Time to show off those mussels! Yes, we mean of the seafood variety :-). We love getting mussels because you can use the shells as a scooper and scoop up all that goodness and shovel it into your mouth. We serve only live, black mussels and not the usual frozen, green mussels that most other places serve. Mussels are definitely underrated but don't forget you can get them along with live crawfish, shrimp, or clams for our Seafood Combo Special. Eating seafood will definitely get you in shape so you can really show off your muscles.
We recently posted about our Dynamite Bread. Well, if you like that spread on bread, try getting it on fresh oysters! Yep, we have Dynamite Baked Oysters. We take 3 fresh oysters (usually the bigger ones, whatever we have in stock at the time) and shuck them. We, of course, check them for freshness, and then cover it in our Dynamite spread, which is a combination of seafood, cheese, mayo, and some veggies. We bake them until the tops are crusted over and then serve them to you with some lemon wedges. If you love our Dynamite spread and our fresh, raw oysters, you must get this on your next visit.
We'd like you to spoil Dad on Father's Day. That means giving him whatever he wants, including our Cajun Garlic Noodles with Shrimp and Sausage. No, just shrimp is not enough. And, obviously, just sausage is not enough either. Heck, if he also wants to add clams and mussels, too, we can do that. It's his day! Let's spoil him! We are large-party-friendly so bring all your dad's kids, too. Even the ones you despise. :-).
We almost always have at least 4 varieties of raw oysters in stock. Our current inventory includes Calm Coves, Blue Points, Malpeques, and Kumamotos. And, as usual, if you would like to have a sample of each, we can give you a sampler of in increments of half dozens. So you can get 6, 12, 18, etc of the sampler. The same goes for each oyster. You can get them in increments of 6. Mix and match. Pick what you like and then get more of that. We always check each oyster we serve for freshness and every order comes with in-house made horseradish and cocktail sauce.
We always strive to provide awesome appetizers while you await your Cajun Seafood Combos so here's another one you might not have tried yet: Dynamite Bread. We take 5 slices of baguette bread, smother our spread of bell pepper, shrimp, cheese, and other secret ingredients on one side of each of them, and then toast them to perfection. You will get a nice, gooey bite with every bite! And if your seafood combo comes out before you finish them, you can also dip them into your seafood combo sauce for even more flavor. That's a lot to handle. Hope your taste buds are up to the challenge!
We get it. Sometimes, you just want some clams. We feel that way every once in a while. There's no peeling. There's no work. Just pick up the shell, scoop some sauce while you're at it, and put it to your mouth, and suck. Simple as that. We like it simple some times. It's just nice that clams is a good scooper for the sauce, too. Yep, treat yo self. Indulge. Get multiple seafood combos.
We've had this item on the menu for about a year now and it nearly doesn't get the attention that it should. It's our Coconut Shrimp. We love giving you plenty of options as appetizers as you wait for your Cajun Seafood Combo so here's another one to make your decision that much tougher. We use large, tiger prawn shrimps so they're bigger than your average shrimp. We butterfly them, coat them in our coconut batter, and then fry them to perfection. It's accompanied by a delicious, fruity marmalade. Comes 5 to an order and it'll come out to your table fast! Come on in and give it a try. We know it'll become another favorite of yours.
It's Graduation Season and we're starting to get quite a few requests for large parties. Yep, we are capable of handling very large parties. Just give us a call ahead of time and we'll be sure to accommodate. So whether you're graduating from high school, college, preschool, or any kind of school, just come on in with all of your family and friends. We'll take care of ya. Just be sure not to use your gown to wipe your dirty hands afterwards.

We're not sure when or how overhead shots of food became so popular but here's ours of our Calamari. There's definitely a little trick to the shot as you want to have some sunlight coming in from one of the sides to accentuate the food. In any case, you should really come on in and give our Calamari a try if you haven't already done so. It's lightly battered with our own Cajun seasonings and of course, fried to perfection. Many like to eat them as is but we always serve them with a side of our own house cocktail sauce. Always great to get as you're awaiting your Cajun seafood combo.
A couple of weeks ago, we posted about our Garlic Butter Sauce but it was a picture of mussels and clams. This week, we're posting about our Garlic Butter Sauce again but are using a picture of crawfish instead. Looks pretty good, doesn't it? Yep, that's why we had to post it. So we have Garlic Butter, Cajun, Lemon Pepper, and our house sauce, Fire Sauce. Now go try all of them!
Despite the name, we love our Fish Sauce Wings and many of our regulars love them, too! If you haven't tried them out, you're definitely missing out. You can get an order of 5 or 10 delicious Fish Sauce wings. They come out piping hot so be sure to be careful when biting into that first wing. Served with some healthy celery and a side of ranch, though you really don't need it.

You should really try and experiment with some of our other flavors besides the usual Fire Sauce. Our Garlic Butter Sauce is exactly how it sounds: garlicky and buttery. It's especially good if you have kids in the group or some wimpy adults who can't handle the spice. Our other flavors include Lemon Pepper and Cajun. Combining all three flavors (Garlic Butter, Lemon Pepper, Cajun) make up our Fire Sauce. We like getting our combos with clams and mussels because their shells double as scooping utensils so we can drink the sauce, too. Yum.

It's been a while since we acknowledged our best appetizer, our Cajun Garlic Fries. Although we have 8 different fries, this one still seems to be the most popular. The other type of fries are Cajun Chili, French, Cajun, Cheddar, Salt & Vinegar, Sour Cream & Onion, and Sweet Potato. Yep, that's quite a few to choose from. If you're unsure of which you would like the most, just get several!
We heard ya. We need some items for the kids and so we do have 2 items specifically kid-friendly: Fried Shrimp Basket and the pictured Chicken Tenders Basket. Yes, it's not pictured in a basket but we'll serve it in one. Both come with fries and are completely safe for the kids to eat. Meaning, they're not too spicy and not too flavorful for their delicate palettes. So come on in. And bring those mistakes you call kids.
We always have at least 4 different varieties of Oysters in stock. You can order them in increments of 6 (half dozen) but we always recommend you get a dozen of each. If you're unsure of which oysters you would like, you can always get a sampler so you can try 2 or 3 of each variety. We shuck them to order and always check them for freshness before serving them to you. Every order of oysters come with a lemon wedges, horseradish, and our own cocktail sauce. And tabasco is also always available in case you want it spicier. If you'd like to try any of our oysters in an oyster shooter, we can also do that.
Live Louisiana Crawfish is back in stock! If you ever want to see one, please let us know. Our servers will gladly let you see the one you will eventually eat, haha. This picture definitely puts a different perspective on the crawfish but once they're boiled and cooked in our sauce, you'll quickly forget how they actually look. We just thought it was a cool picture and wanted to post it.
