50 Shades of Crawfish is way better than 50 shades of any color, including grey! We're close to Valentine's Day so we don't expect too many of you to have a nice, romantic dinner sucking on crawfish heads and peeling shrimp. Unless, of course, you're in one of those really comfortable relationships where you don't have to be romantic. You'd rather go out and have a great meal. Then, we're the place to go if that's what you're looking for, especially since we also always have 4-6 live oysters in stock. Better load up on those aphrodisiacs and have your own 50 shades kind of night.

It's Super Bowl Weekend! We can always pack our freshly shucked oysters to go for you. Just simply pick from our selection of available oysters (currently, Kumamoto, Eld Inlet, Calm Cove, Blue Point) and we'll shuck them, make sure they're all good, and then pack them up for you to take home and gobble down. So next time you have a hankering for some fresh oysters at home, give us a call and we'll take care of ya! Have a great weekend, everyone!
Okay, we know y'all have been craving for some live crawfish. It's the best way to kick off this new year! Our shipments of live crawfish are coming in daily so come on by and get your pounds of it today! We know you want it so we've got it! Of course, we're gonna cook them up and drench them in our Cajun sauce before we serve them to you so don't expect them to be alive at your table. If you want proof, feel free to ask our server. They'll gladly show you a few of the suckers that you'll be eating later on. Just to forewarn you though, they're not that good looking. But they are great-tasting!
You like our Cajun Garlic Noodles? You like it with clams? Done, son! Stop by the Fire Crab in Garden Grove and have some awesome cajun seafood and some awesome Cajun Garlic Noodles with Clams! If you want it more on the mild side, then you can get our regular Garlic Noodles with Clams. If you want more of a kick, you can add more hot sauce, like sriracha, which is what a lot of our regulars do. If you'd like it with shrimp, sausage or anything else you can think of, we'll throw it on there. As long as it can all fit on the plate.
Swing on by for fresh, cold beer! We've always have four draft beers on tap: 805, Sapporo, Elysian IPA, and Mango Cart. A cold, fresh beer or two always goes well with our Cajun grub so be sure to get a pint or pitcher next time you swing on by. And in case these 4 beers on tap don't do it for you, we also have plenty variety of bottled beer including but not limited to Shock Top, Corona, Heineken, Blue Moon, Bud Light, Cass, Hite, OB, and Long Hammer IPA. So what are you waiting for? Let's get to drinking!
It's getting cold out there, especially for Southern California. And you know what that means. Yep, it's time to stay in, cozy up to a loved one, and make some babies! Well, we here at the Fire Crab want to help you out. Come on in for a dozen oysters on half shell. We have fresh shipments come in throughout the week so our varieties always change. Current inventory includes Calm Cove, Eld Inlet, Blue Point, and Shigoku. We can't guarantee you'll make some babies but we can guarantee you'll get some loving.
We try to put a cajun twist on everything on our menu and that includes this entree of Fish & Chips. Our "chips" are actually are Cajun fries but you can always upgrade that for sweet potato fries or Cajun Garlic Fries for another dollar. This entree is a large serving! You can definitely try to eat it all yourself but we've made these portions large intentionally so that you can share them with the rest of your table. Come on in to Orange County's best Cajun restaurant!
Eat with your family, even the crazy ones! Haha, we all have crazy families that we must go eat with every now and then. Might as well eat at the Fire Crab since we are large-party-friendly! It's especially nice since Moms don't have to do any of the cooking nor does anyone have to do any of the cleaning. We'll take care of all that for ya! Yep, order a few of those combos for your entire crazy family.
You really have the option to combine whatever seafoods you like at the Fire Crab. A current favorite is crawfish and clams, since live crawfish is still barely in season. It could run out at any time now. We're open from 3pm till 10pm on the weekdays, and from noon till 10pm on the weekends. We hope to see everyone real soon.
An item that's always been on our menu but we've neglected to promote until now is our Coconut Sea Snails. The coconut is actually a coconut milk so it's very creamy. It's traditionally a Vietnamese dish but of course, we put our little Fire Crab spin on it :-). You eat it the same way you eat crawfish heads: you suck the little snails out of their shells. If you're too high class for that, you can always use a toothpick, which takes forever. Hey, who cares about manners when you're eating with your hands and leaving a mess all over the tables anyway ;-). Available in regular or spicy!
We're not sure if this feisty little crawfish is being suggestive or telling you off but either way, you should just do what it says and eat it. It's a simple request. Of course, we'll cook it up for ya. Just pick what sauce you'd like and how how you want it. After we do all the cooking, it's up to you how you wanna eat it. Just the tail? Or do you suck on the head? It's kind of a waste if you do not suck the heads. There so much flavor in there. Just try it once and you won't think twice about sucking the head in the future.
Can't decide between Crawfish and Shrimp? If you don't want to get them together in one combo, you can always get a bucket of each! It only makes sense to go ahead and get 4 pounds of everything. Live crawfish is in stock as well as all of our other seafood combo items like clams, mussels, crab legs, and lobster tails.
Our ultimate goal every time you come and visit the Fire Crab is for you to leave happy. We love seeing you happy because that means we did our jobs right. We try to give you the best possible service with the best possible food every time you come and visit. So whether you want to come with just a few friends or your entire family or crew, feel free to swing on by and eat up some Cajun goodness that will surely make you happy.

Yes, it most certainly is yummy. You can get our cajun garlic noodles with so many options! First, you can get it either bold or mild. And then, you can decide to add sausage, shrimp, clams, or mussels! Whatever you do choose can't be wrong because you will love it. And, the serving is so large that you can share it with others. Come on by and try it out today along with all of our other entrees!
The Fire Crab is well known for our crawfish so sometimes, we need to shed a little light on our other seafood options like this here Mussels and Shrimp. They make for a great combo together. You can also choose from crawfish or clams but this combo is usually pretty solid on its own. Just add sauce (4 to choose from) and your spice level (5 to choose from), add some potatoes, corn, and sausage, and you have a pretty complete meal. Oh, add some bread if you'd like to sop up all the sauce while you're eating. Now, that's a complete meal.
Wasn't really sure how to title this picture. Was going to say, "Eat with family, friends, co-workers, and enemies" but that was too long. "Eat with friends and strangers"? Nope. Eat with people you kinda like works for everyone. You don't have to fully like them, which applies to a lot of friends and family. It's especially the case with co-workers so yeah, this title is very fitting. That's all you really need to know. Thanks for reading this far into this post. Hope it was enjoyable for ya.
We have fresh oysters everyday! We shuck them to order and you can get them in increments of 6. We usually have at least 3-6 different varieties to choose from and they come from all over. Current oysters in stock are Kumamoto, Calm Cove, and Hammersley. Sampler Plate is also available. We check every single oyster that goes out to make sure you don't get a bad one. We know how that feels and if you ever do get a bad one from us, we'll gladly replace it! Come on in and we'll shuck some for you now.
We only carry two soups and we're very proud of both! Our Gumbo and our Clam Chowder are both made in-house and we invite you to order one or both on your next visit. If you prefer a creamy soup, you should most definitely try our Clam Chowder. It's great to get for the kids or as an appetizer, especially if you want something warm in your belly.
At the Fire Crab, we encourage you to eat with your hands. You gotta dig on into your seafood combo and get what you want, eat the sauce, peel the shell, and gobble it all up. Yep, it's fun to do and we'll clean up the mess right after ya. We also encourage you to eat with your hands because we hate washing utensils. So it's a win-win for everyone! Now get on in here already.
Peanut 'n Chives is a classic Vietnamese topping for a lot of our drinking foods. We've applied it here, on some of our baked oysters and everyone loves them! It's especially good when you get it on top of freshly shucked oysters, too. And, as you all should know by now, we always have fresh oysters on hand. We have 3 different types of baked oysters. The other two are called, dynamite and ying-yang. Try out each one every time you visit. Let us know which one is your favorite!
If you love fries, you have to come in and try all 8 of our different fries! Pictured here is our cheddar fries in the foreground, and our sour cream and onion fries in the background. We also have cajun fries, salt & vinegar fries, cajun garlic fries, sweet potato fries and regular french fries. And, our latest addition to the menu is our Cajun Chili Fries. Wow, that's a lot of different fries! The first 7 types of fries range between $3 and $4 but the Cajun Chili Fries is $7.95. Great appetizer to share with everyone else at the table or to gobble up on your own.
The Fire Crab has the absolute best oyster selection in Orange County! Our current inventory: Kumiai, Calm Cove, Kumamoto, and Fanny Bay. Be sure to check back often as our selection changes all the time according to availability and shipping schedules. We also have oysters shooters and can also batter and deep fry the oysters if you'd like. And, we can also pack trays of freshly shucked oysters on ice for your next get together or party. Come on by and get a few dozen today!
Not to be outdone by our Cajun Fish Tacos, we also have Cajun Shrimp Tacos! We know that fish is not for everyone and we're all about choices. We batter up some shrimp, fry them up, and they're served two to an order. They're loaded up with veggies, like cabbage, tomatoes, onions, and cilantro, and then we drizzle our sauce all over them. If you don't want any particular veggie or if you'd like the sauce on the side, of course we will always accommodate.
It's only fitting that we do a tribute to Garlic & Shrimp since we did one for Crawfish a couple of weeks back. It ranks right up there with Crawfish but you can also mix it up and get mussels or clams, too. And of course, we'll give you a ton of garlic since you like having the stinky breath and all. We're open every week day at 3pm and on the weekends at noon. We close at 10pm everyday, although many of you like to stay past then ;-).
Did you know that the Fire Crab is the perfect place for a Girls Night Out? We have plenty of space for any size group of gals who want to get together, chit chat, and get one of our Cajun Seafood Combos. We understand that women have to get away once in a while to have alone time and we respect that. We'll be your sanctuary. Oh, and we're not saying that guys can't come and have their night out, either. All groups are welcome. We just think the women are definitely more photogenic ;-).
We have 4 different types of wings and all of them are awesome but if you're looking for something "safe," you can always rely on our Lemon Pepper Wings. They're not spicy and full of flavor so they're safe for everyone to enjoy. We use our very own Lemon Pepper batter and we always fry them to perfection. They're served with a side of celery and a ranch dipping sauce. Our other wing flavors, if you're more adventurous, are our Cajun, Honey BBQ, and Fish Sauce.
We are Large-Party-Friendly! Yes, we like 'em large and we like to party. So bring your whole fam-bam down and we'll save a big table for them. You can even take over a large section of the restaurant if you so desired. And why wouldn't you? So bring in your birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, funerals, divorce parties, we don't care. Just bring everyone down!
4th of July is finally over and you deserve at least a dozen freshly shucked oysters for your enjoyment. Come on by and our master shuckers will shuck the crap out of some fresh oysters for you to enjoy. Current inventory of oysters are Kumamotos, Blue Points, Calm Coves, and Kumiais (coming in on Friday). If you'd like a breakdown of any particular type, just ask one of our friendly servers who will gladly drop some oyster knowledge on y'all! We shuck them to order and can even pack them to go for you. And we always serve them with some horseradish and our very own cocktail sauce.
