That's right. You read that right. We've got them for days. Why? Because we get new shipments all the time. And our selection is always different. Currently, we have 4 types: Kumamoto, Calm Cove, Fanny Bay, and Pickering Pass. We shuck them fresh to order and we check every single one we serve is fresh and ready for consumption. If you don't know which oyster to get, you can always get a sampler. A dozen sampler will get you 3 of each kind. Find out which is the best, and get another dozen of that one. So simple.

It's about that time when the Louisiana Crawfish season is coming to an end. Happens every year, yet, people are still surprised when it happens. So this post is to let you know that if you enjoy live Louisiana Crawfish, you better come on in soon. Incoming shipments are starting to get less and less. Once we do, will will shift over to the California Crawfish, which will be in season for a few months.
In efforts to broaden our menu, we have Jalapeño Poppers as an appetizer! We like to give you a lot of options when it comes to appetizers so we invite you to try these bad boys out. They're not very complicated items as they are just jalapeños filled with cream cheese, battered, and then fried. They are a great item to get while you take advantage of our Cajun Seafood Combo.
At the Fire Crab, we give you options. So if you want Shrimp & Mussels, that's what you'll get. Yes, mix it up and get what you want. And then pick what sauce you'd like, like Lemon Pepper, Cajun, Garlic Butter, or the the combination of all three which is our Fire Sauce. And then, make sure to get some bread while you're at it to sop up all the sauce afterwards. Get the Garlic Bread if you want even more flavor. See? We're all about options here.
Time to show off those mussels! Yes, we mean of the seafood variety :-). We love getting mussels because you can use the shells as a scooper and scoop up all that goodness and shovel it into your mouth. We serve only live, black mussels and not the usual frozen, green mussels that most other places serve. Mussels are definitely underrated but don't forget you can get them along with live crawfish, shrimp, or clams for our Seafood Combo. Eating seafood will definitely get you in shape so you can really show off your muscles.
Do you like legs? We thought so. Don't these King Crab Legs look sexy and delicious? You can get them by the pound or get our Crab Legs Combo which includes a pound of King Crab Legs and a pound of Snow Crab Legs. Yep, legs for days. We'll even give you some scissors to help you take off the shells. Once you get to the meat of the legs, dip them in the Cajun sauce and enjoy. Yeah, that's way better than just dipping them in butter. Yeah, we're a little biased.
We almost always have at least 4 varieties of raw oysters in stock. Our current inventory includes Bald Points, Fanny Bays, Kumiais, and Kumamotos. And, as usual, if you would like to have a sample of each, we can give you a sampler of in increments of half dozens. So you can get 6, 12, 18, etc of the sampler. The same goes for each oyster. You can get them in increments of 6. Mix and match. Pick what you like and then get more of that. We always check each oyster we serve for freshness and every order comes with in-house made horseradish and cocktail sauce.

Have you tried our ultimate Oyster Shooters? If not, you should! We take a fresh oyster from whatever we have in stock, shuck the crap out of it, top it with masago, green onions, ponzu, a secret sauce, and a quail egg. It comes with a shot of sake. It's your choice whether to take the shot before or after but you should really take it with the oyster shooter. It's the best oyster shooter around! And you know, you can't order just one.
We showcased our Fish & Chips before so now it's time for us to talk about our Shrimp & Chips. We butterfly cut our shrimps, lightly bread and batter them and then deep-fry them to perfection. We serve them up with some chips (fries) but you can always upgrade those to cajun fries or sweet potato fries for only another dollar. It's definitely something that can be shared because it's entirely a finger food. Anybody at your table with fingers can eat it. If they don't have fingers, then that means more for you. It's a great appetizer as you await your cajun seafood combo.
Originally, Fish & Chips is a British dish. They called their fries, "chips." Well, we've taken this British classic and added a Cajun twist to it, and then threw in a little Southern California flavor to make it all our own. Now you can get the Fish and Chips as it is, with our regular fries, or you can get them with any of our 6 other types of fries, including our oh-so-popular sweet potato fries. We pride ourselves on giving you options and having 7 different types of fries (or chips) is a pretty good sign of that.
Where else can you get fresh oysters to go in Orange County? We shuck them for you, make sure they're fresh, and then pack them up nicely and neatly on a bed of ice. We have 3 different types of baked oysters to choose from. There's Dynamite, Peanuts & Chives, and Ying-Yang. As you can see from the picture, Ying-Yang consists of 2 different colored masagos (roes) on a baked oyster, red and black. Every order comes with 3 freshly-shucked oysters and they're only made when you order them. If you like seafood, then this is the dish for you. It's fish eggs on top of an oyster. That's seafood on top of seafood. Yumminess on top of yumminess. Just another one of our awesome seafood appetizers you gotta try out soon!
We couldn't really call ourselves a cajun restaurant if we didn't have Cajun Wings, now could we? We have crafted our very own unique blend of cajun spices that you will surely appreciate with every bite of our Cajun Wings. You can order them in a 5 or 10 count and you have other wing flavors to choose from, like Honey BBQ, Lemon Pepper, and Fish Sauce. Honey BBQ has obviously a sweeter taste to it and the Fish Sauce has a sweet and savory taste to it. Lemon Pepper tastes like lemon and pepper, haha. All 4 have unique tastes of their own and none of them are ever a bad choice!
Get a combo of combos! You can order as many as you want and you can combine them however you wish! It's all about options at the Fire Crab! So if you want various combos to have various seafoods and have a different sauce type and/or spiciness level for each, feel free to order to your heart's content. There's no limit! Seafood choices include live Louisiana crawfish, shrimp, clams, mussels, or crab legs. We can accommodate large parties.
We don't have to sell you everything on or in a shell. We also have our very, very popular deep fried oysters. Nothing to peel. Nothing to suck. Heck, you'll barely get your hands dirty. We batter up a dozen freshly shucked oysters, deep fry them to perfection, and then serve them to you fresh. You won't be disappointed with this appetizer at all. Our current oysters in stock are Blue Point from New York, Calm Cove from Washington, Kumiai from Baja California, Kumamoto from Washington, and Shigoku from Washington. It's getting hot in Orange County! Well, it's always been hot in our kitchen. Get any of our steaming bucket deals and you'll see what we mean. Once we bring your seafood out, the steam is so hot, those bad boys can't wait for you to take them out of their shells. And if you want hot as in spicy, yeah, we go that, too. Just ask. We like a good burn every now and then, too. Our Fire Sauce is just a combination of all of our various flavored sauces. Pick your favorite one and let us know how hot you want it. We always strive to provide awesome appetizers while you await your Cajun Seafood Combos so here's another one you might not have tried yet: Dynamite Bread. We take 5 slices of baguette bread, smother our spread of bell pepper, shrimp, cheese, and other secret ingredients on one side of each of them, and then toast them to perfection. You will get a nice, gooey bite with every bite! And if your seafood combo comes out before you finish them, you can also dip them into your seafood combo sauce for even more flavor. That's a lot to handle. Hope your taste buds are up to the challenge!
Have your tried our Coconut Shrimp? We love giving you plenty of options as appetizers as you wait for your Cajun Seafood Combo so here's another one to make your decision that much tougher. We use large, tiger prawn shrimps so they're bigger than your average shrimp. We butterfly them, coat them in our coconut batter, and then fry them to perfection. It's accompanied by a delicious, fruity marmalade. Comes 5 to an order and it'll come out to your table fast! Come on in and give it a try. We know it'll become another favorite of yours.
We're always bragging about our Cajun Garlic Noodles and they are pretty awesome. But did you know that you can always get Garlic Noodles without all the Cajun spices? Yep, our Garlic Noodles is a pretty popular dish you can get plain, as shown, or loaded with sausages, shrimp, clams, and/or mussels. Yep, you can have all 4 toppings at the same time if you'd like. Our Garlic Noodles is great for kids or wimpy adults who can't handle the spice. Yeah, sorry, we had to call out those adults because it's funny.
It's been a while since we acknowledged our best appetizer, our Cajun Garlic Fries. Although we have 8 different fries, this one still seems to be the most popular. The other type of fries are Cajun Chili, French, Cajun, Cheddar, Salt & Vinegar, Sour Cream & Onion, and Sweet Potato. Yep, that's quite a few to choose from. If you're unsure of which you would like the most, just get several!
We heard ya. We need some items for the kids and so we do have 2 items specifically kid-friendly: Fried Shrimp Basket and the pictured Chicken Tenders Basket. Yes, it's not pictured in a basket but we'll serve it in one. Both come with fries and are completely safe for the kids to eat. Meaning, they're not too spicy and not too flavorful for their delicate palettes. So come on in. And bring those mistakes you call kids.

Our Garlic Bread has proven to be a big hit. Customers love to dip it in our sauce so if you get a Cajun Seafood Combo, be sure to get some bread, too, to finish off the sauce in the bowl afterwards. Or, you can always order some extra sauce on the side like in this here picture. You can even get a side of sauce especially when you'd like a different flavor (Garlic Butter, Lemon Pepper, Cajun, or Fire) and/or a different level of spiciness.
A very popular item on our menu is our Soft Shell Crab & Chips. We take 2 Soft Shell Crabs, batter them up, and then fry them to perfection. They're then served on a bed of chips, otherwise known as fries. You can always upgrade your chips to Cajun Garlic Fries (pictured) or even Sweet Potato Fries for an additional $1. Yes, you can eat Soft Shell Crabs whole, shell and all, especially after it's been fried. If you haven't tried, you should at least once. We also have Fish & Chips and Shrimp & Chips.
