Kumamoto (Humboldt Bay, CA), Malaspina (British Columbia, Canada), St James River (James River, VA. So come on by and get a dozen or two of our sampler platter. Find out which oysters you enjoy the most and then order another dozen or two of those. You just can't lose. Plus, it's practically the summertime already. Time for a good party.

Our Garlic Bread has proven to be a big hit. Customers love to dip it in our sauce so if you get a Cajun Seafood Combo, be sure to get some bread, too, to finish off the sauce in the bowl afterwards. Or, you can always order some extra sauce on the side like in this here picture. You can even get a side of sauce especially when you'd like a different flavor (Garlic Butter, Lemon Pepper, Cajun, or Fire) and/or a different level of spiciness.

A very popular item on our menu is our Soft Shell Crab & Chips. We take 2 Soft Shell Crabs, batter them up, and then fry them to perfection. They're then served on a bed of chips, otherwise known as fries. You can always upgrade your chips to Cajun Garlic Fries (pictured) or even Sweet Potato Fries for an additional $1. Yes, you can eat Soft Shell Crabs whole, shell and all, especially after it's been fried. If you haven't tried, you should at least once. We also have Fish & Chips and Shrimp & Chips. Plenty of options for ya.

We are very date-night-friendly, especially if you're in a relationship where you're both comfortable getting your hands dirty while you're eating, sucking on seafood in front of each other, and taking advantage of great deals together. Did you know that we have 3 different types of Crab Leg Buckets? Our most popular one is our Crab Bucket Deal which features a pound of King Crab Legs and a pound of Snow Crab Legs and then another pound of seafood of your choice. All of this along with potatoes, sausages, and corn. If there's not enough sauce in the bowl, we recommend you get an additional bowl of sauce on the side so that you can freely dip your crab meat once you get it out of its shell.

We're not sure y'all know about our Peeled Shrimp yet so here's yet another post about it. As you can see from this picture, not only are these shrimp peeled, but they've also been deveined. Many of our customers over the years have requested for peeled shrimp because it's their preference and we can respect that. Sometimes, you don't have to get your hands all dirty, especially on a first date or after a recent manicure. So go ahead. Order the peeled shrimp and let it bathe in our Fire Sauce.

While we encourage you to get dirty and eat our Cajun Seafood Combos with your hands, we'd like to encourage at least a little bit of civility by serving you your combos in a metal bowl. The combos do initially come out in bags but then they are all emptied into metal bowls at your table. If you'd prefer to have your combos stay in the bags, please be sure to let our servers know. They will gladly oblige (plus, less bowls for us to wash). We just find the bags hard to pick out of as a group because it can easily get more than just your hands dirty.

Everybody loves our wings and surprisingly, they really love our Fish Sauce Wings. It's surprising because it doesn't exactly have the best name but somehow, it is the most popular out of the four types of wings that we offer (we also have cajun, lemon pepper, and honey bbq). You have the choice of getting them in orders of 5 or 10 and it comes with a ranch (that you won't need) and some celery (that you do need). We're about to unveil quite a few more types of wings very soon. It'll be interesting to see if our Fish Sauce Wings remains the most popular.

The Fire Crab is most definitely Large-Party-Friendly, especially for birthdays and holiday gatherings! We can always rearrange our tables to accommodate whatever size party you have in mind. Yes, we always have fresh oysters. What are they? We always list the current inventory on the home page of our website. Currently, the are Kumamoto, Bald Point, Barron Point, and Fanny Bay. If you'd like a sample of each, we usually have a sampler platter available in a half dozen or a dozen. From wherever you are in Orange County, our fresh oysters are worth the drive! We have sushi chefs from other restaurants come by just to order a few dozen of our oysters nightly. Maybe you should, too.

We are way too familiar with this look. Food coma is about to kick in. All the food and sauce is just about gone. And he's still got a piece of bread in hand. He's blissfully full, but he's got to make the most out of this last piece of bread. How best can he sop up the rest of this sauce with this last piece of bread? Yes, a picture is worth a thousand words and we can go on and on about this one. But we'll leave it at that. And be sure to get some bread or garlic bread so you can end up with the same look as this guy.

We've got a lot of great appetizers to get you started at the Fire Crab! One that has always been on our menu is our Spicy Garlic Edamame. We know it's not a traditional Cajun appetizer but it does include two elements that we particularly favor in our food: spice and garlic! You can always order it without the spice but it wouldn't be as fun to eat. There's plenty of flavor and you'll be proudly eating your veggies, something you can brag about to your mom (no matter how old you are ;-)).

At the Fire Crab, we always have at least 4 raw types of oysters in stock. This week, we have Kumamoto, Kusshi, Fanny Bay, and Nisqually. We shuck them fresh to order every time and we always check to ensure that we only serve you fresh ones. If there's even a remote possibility that the oyster is bad, we will toss it. If you don't have a preference out of the 4 choices, you can always get the sampler, where you will have 3 freshly shucked oysters of every type. It's a good way to figure out what you prefer.

At the Fire Crab, we currently have 4 different types of wings to choose from. There's Cajun, Fish Sauce, Lemon Pepper, and the pictured, Honey BBQ. If you have a bit more of a sweet tooth, then this is the type of wings you should order. We are in the process of coming up with at least a few other flavors so if you have any suggestions, please let us know! We'd love to hear from you. Get a dozen of each type so you can see the drastic differences between their flavors.

You asked for it and we're giving it to you! Peeled Shrimp is now on the menu! And these aren't your dinky little wimpy shrimps that most other restaurants give you. These are good sized shrimps for those customers who don't like peeling shrimp. You know who you are. We know you're not lazy. You just don't want your hands to get too dirty. We get it. These shrimps are peeled and deveined so all you have to do is pick them up by their takes and bite them off. So what else would you like us to add to make your lives easier?

Okay, maybe it's not the best appetizer in the whole word but in our world, it sure is! Our Cajun Garlic Fries is so popular, our customers automatically order it as soon as they sit down. Well, that and an ice cold beer. If you haven't tried it out you should. It's got all kinds of cajun yumminess happening all over it, with garlic, parsley, and our blend of cajun spices. And don't forget, we also have 6 more types of fries to choose from, in case you ever could get tired of our cajun garlic fries. Yeah, like that would ever happen.

You really don't have to make that decision since you can get both at the Fire Crab. You can get them in separate orders or together in the same combo. It's your choice! It's nice to keep them separate if members of your party like different spice levels or if they prefer a different flavor since we have a few to choose from: Cajun, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Butter, or Fire Sauce (combination of all 3 flavors). We bring all of our combos out in bags and then dump into metal bowls because we're classy like that. And it sucks when you get your hands all dirty when reaching into the bags.

¡Feliz Día de las Madres! May 10, 2018 is Mexican Mother's Day so we wanted to take a moment to thank all the madres out there for holding it down. This Sunday, May 13th, is the regular Mother's Day and we will be giving out free Momosas (our version of mimosas) to all mommies who come in to dine with us. Take your mom out for some cajun goodness and we'll take care of her with a free mimosa. If she wants more, we'll give her more. Afterall, it's her day. Time to treat that lady right! Oh, and Momosas go well with our always fresh oysters and oyster shooters. Get a dozen of your favorite or get a sampler. Either way, you can't go wrong! Come on in this Sunday for Mother's Day!

On the 5th of May this year, come on in and celebrate with us. We know it's not Mexican Independence Day. It's a holiday celebrating the Mexican army's victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. But still, that shouldn't stop us from celebrating as everyone else will be, too, right? Swing on in and have a few beers with us.

So we were thinking about using another term rather than, "orgy," but "assembly" or "congregation" didn't quite have the zest we were looking for to title this seafood combo. Orgy hits the spot. This orgy consists of our staple seafood: crawfish, shrimp, clams, and mussels all tossed in a garlic-filled cajun sauce. Hopefully, using this term won't detract our followers from what is important here: our seafood combo. If you want to get kinky with our combos, that's strictly up to you. But if you do, try to pick one of the booths in the back corner so we don't have to see it.

You should really check out our drink menu as it has a lot of good stuff on it, like this cute little 300 ml bottle of Kikusui! Kikusui is probably one of the most popular sakes out there right now. It is crisp, clean, and bright with slight hints of citrus and persimmons. It's a small bottle so you can share it or drink it all by yourself. It goes great with just about everything on our menu such as our Baked Oysters, Cajun Garlic Noodles, and our Cajun Seafood Combos. It's light and refreshing, especially if you're looking for an alternative from beer.

Smoke a bowl and roll on through! Bring some with you and share! We don't care. We've got a pretty big area in front of our restaurant for you to smoke. Just don't be so obvious about it. What's even better is that you get to eat with your hands and get all dirty. And, of course, our seafood combo deal right now makes it even sweeter.
